welcome to my closet!
Once Love(ly)d is about a year in the making. Launching my digital closet sale started as just an idea in the back of my head in the beginning of 2015, so I'm only about a year late! Better late than never, right?
As a blogger, I share my favorite pieces of clothing and my outfits throughout the year, and as you can imagine, my closet tends to get a tad overcrowded, so I started moving items into the guest closet... and now I'm into our second guest closet. I've turned into a straight up hoarder y'all, and it's because I can't seem to part with all of my favorite things! I finally had to ask myself WHY am I holding onto these items when I could be sharing them? So I invited my friends over to "shop my closet," and realized that I could be doing this on a much larger level. After all, most of these items are gently-worn only once or twice, and am I betting someone would give them a happy home where they are loved just as much as me - and maybe even worn more. There are some items that still have tags on... : /
At the same time, I have been trying to find a philanthropic way for A Pinch of Lovely to give back, and I realized that this closet sale is an opportunity for me to repurpose my gently-worn clothing and donate to Dress For Success, a non-profit organization that empowers women to join the workforce by providing them with professional clothing. So rather than use a third-party site to host and sell my items, I decided that I would host them myself and donate the percentage of sales that a third party site would make off of my items back to Dress For Success. Any pieces that go unsold after a certain amount of time will also be donated to non-profit. The additional sale profits from each item will go towards the site-hosting, shipping and transaction fees. So I get my closet space back, you guys can shop at huge discounts and it's all going back towards a positive cause. Everyone wins!

All shipping will be processed as USPS ground unless requested otherwise.
